Is it me or is fall beckoning you too

It’s only August 26th and believe it or not.. I am almost ready to put my boat up on blocks. You believe it? I know Sept. and Oct. are the best months to boat in, but with the pace of my household.. I am afraid I have time for little else. Don’t get me wrong, I love love love this boat, but as soon as my wedding anniversary hits (yesterday) I feel like calling summer quits. I’m even looking at the fall crafts and halloween accesories at Michaels Crafts! Am I pushing it? I have my pumpkin candles already burning on our kitchen table. I usually do that until the end of Sept?! It was a long summer and I’m ready to settle into school, homework, karate, football, musical instruments and all that childhood has to torture me with. I’ll keep you posted~
Out to enjoy the east coast Indian Summer!

Viagra: Bring Your Sexual Health Back In Track.

In the history of the pharmaceutical industry, no drug has ever received such rave review and success as Viagra or Sildenafil citrate did. After it received approval on March 27, 1998 from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the drug received widespread popularity as it proved to be an effective drug for the treatment of sexual health problem in men called erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence.

ED is generally a feeble condition of penile muscle and man suffering from it could not get or maintain penis erect enough for the process of sexual intercourse. It is very important to treat ED on time because it may lead to low self-esteem, sexual failure anxiety, and depression, stress and guilt and relationship conflicts.

Use of Viagra gives relief to men suffering from ED. Being the first marketed anti-ED drug, Viagra is also referred as king medicine for ED. It is an oral prescription medicine that not only helps a man gets an erection but also helps in maintaining it throughout the process of intercourse.

Viagra comes under the class of drug called phosphodiesterase inhibitors, it manipulates and blocks an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5), and helps the smooth muscles in the penis to get relaxed and widen, and that allows more blood to flow to the penis resulting in faster and easier erection.

VIAGRA SPILL REVIVES LAKE MICHIGAN

A freighter containing 62,000 metric tons of popular impotence drug Viagra struck a reef and sank in Lake Michigan today. As a result, the once-frigid lake no longer dangles into Illinois and Indiana, but now spans majestically across northern Wisconsin.

According to eyewitnesses, roughly 30 to 60 minutes after the ship’s contents dissolved, the lake slowly but firmly began to push northwest toward Minnesota. Eventually, its swollen banks managed to poke aside Lake Superior, which cartographers said will lose its standing as the largest of the Great Lakes for the next four to six hours.

Area residents were surprised by the sudden shift, but conceded Michigan was “like an entirely new lake.”

“For so many years that lake just, you know, sat there,” said Martha Strop of Eau Claire, Wisc. “To be honest, I never even thought about it anymore. There wasn’t much of a point. But now, well, this has changed our lives forever.”

Government officials, however, were more cautious.

In Wisconsin, Gov. Scott McCallum declared a state of emergency, while in Minnesota, Gov. Jesse Ventura declared: “Is Lake Michigan a threat, or is it just glad to see me?”

‘Aspirin increases impotence risk in men’

A new research by boffins at the University of Tampere in Finland has found that daily doses of the drugs, including the popular aspirin, increases the risk of impotence of men.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs are widely used to treat pain and inflammation. They are also prescribed to patients suffering from arthritis on high daily doses to ease swollen, painful joints.

However, the new study has found that drugs such as ibuprofen increase erectile problems in middle-aged and elderly men, with those taking the drugs regularly being nearly twice as likely experience a hitch in their sex lives than men who do not take the drugs.

The study was conducted on 1,126 men between the ages of 50 to 70 who were asked to report their use of the painkilling drugs over a five year period, including aspirin, ibuprofen and other common medicines such as naproxen.

Boffins noted that of the number of cases of erectile problems, 97 per 1,000 in men were found to be using NSAIDs, while just 52 per 1,000 in men not using them suffered from impotence.

Lead researcher Dr Rahman Shiri said the use of the NSAIDs on a daily basis increased to risk of impotence in men.
